If you're a fashion lover, it's impossible not to look forward to the month of May.

After bringing us jaw-dropping fashion moments from the 2026 Met Gala, the 79th Cannes Film Festival is now delivering another fashion spectacle. Held annually in France, the prestigious festival is known not only for celebrating global cinema, but also for its glamorous red carpet, where A-list celebrities showcase stunning designs from the world’s most luxurious fashion houses.

While the Cannes Film Festival continues through May 23, the event has already delivered some of the unforgettable celebrity style. From Hollywood A-listers Demi Moore’s breathtaking gown to Aja Naomi King’s ethereal pieces, here are some of the best Cannes Film Festival 2026 looks that you can recreate by shopping for similar pieces only at MAYFEYR.

Demi Moore

One of the Cannes Film Festival jurors and Hollywood royalty, actress Demi Moore stunned in a custom gown by French brand Jacquemus and fans are already obsessed with the look.

The sparkly dress features two sculptural wings at the hips that give it an architectural silhouette, which flows into a luminous mermaid skirt. According to Vogue Arabia, the entire piece is covered in “milky micro sequins that reflect light in a soft, almost nacreous way.” Moore accessorised it with an iconic diamond necklace and a pair of earrings from Chopard, perfectly complementing the simple yet shimmery ensemble.

If you’re looking for a similar dress (but with less red-carpet vibe), look no further as you can shop Jacquemus’ other fabulous designs here.

Simone Ashley

The “it” actress Simone Ashley completely took everyone’s breath away when she stepped out in a vintage red gown by Alexander McQueen.

The archival gown is from McQueen’s 2005 Fall couture collection, per MSN. Featuring a strapless design with a tight bodice silhouette and a pleated mermaid skirt, the look gave Ashley an old Hollywood glamour on the red carpet. The Devil Wears Prada 2  actress paired the look with exquisite diamond jewellery by Chaumet.

We all know that a gorgeous red dress is a must in our wardrobes, but if you’re looking for another piece by the legendary Alexander McQueen, then shop our roster of collections here.

Cate Blanchett

The queen of film festivals has returned with another classic look! Cate Blanchett looked like a million bucks when she strutted down the Cannes Film Festival’s red carpet in a custom evening gown designed by Sarah Burton for Givenchy.

The floral-print backless dress featured multi-coloured petals and leaves of all sizes, inspired by the work of Filipino artist Olan Ventura. But the cherry on top is that her mermaid skirt is decorated with embellished fringes consisting of two-foot strands, according to InStyle Magazine

Not only that, the one-of-a-kind dress also showed off matching sleeves with bow-tie finishes and more strands of fringe that cascaded in all directions, making this one of Blanchett’s most memorable looks.

It's definitely impossible to recreate this look, but you can always shop for floral-print gowns from Dolce & Gabbana or Etro to channel Blanchett’s flower-power energy. And, of course, you can exude your own French style with our selection of curated pieces from Givenchy.

Aja Naomi King

Another perfect example of why a white dress is the ultimate classic choice, as seen on actress Aja Naomi King who looked ravishing in a white Miu Miu gown.

The beautiful gown featured embroidered macramé over a pink satin slip dress, which looked incredibly refreshing on the red carpet. The How to Get Away with Murder star wore the piece while attending the La Plus Précieuse des Marchandises (The Most Precious of Cargoes) screening at the film festival.

You can recreate King’s classic style by choosing a textured white dress, whether it’s lace, embroidered, or a two-piece, from coveted brands like Miu Miu, Gucci, and Prada.
