Fashion lovers know that Bottega Veneta has long been synonymous with meticulous craftsmanship and mastering the art of quiet luxury. Their signature designs embody understated elegance as further defined by impeccable craftsmanship and a distinctive logo-less look. Thanks to this unique blend, Bottega Veneta ranks among the most coveted luxury brands in the world.

While the Italian fashion house, founded by Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro back in 1966, is renowned for its sleek and sharp ready-to-wear, Bottega Veneta’s exemplary leather goods are also celebrated globally, such as their signature interwoven leather pattern known as the Intrecciato Weave.

Among their many iconic pieces, the Bottega Veneta Andiamo handbag has been widely acclaimed as one of their best yet. With this in mind, we thought we’d give you our own MAYFEYR Review of the Andiamo bag and whether it’s still worth getting it in 2025.

Andiamo’s History

The cult-status handbag was first launched in 2023 and quickly gained widespread love and appreciation from fans and celebrities alike. Under Creative Director Matthieu Blazy, the French-Belgian designer introduced a slew of iconic pieces and the Andiamo is easily one of his most prized creations.

The name Andiamo means “let’s go” in Italian and it perfectly reflects Blazy’s ethos of designing pieces that embody movement and sense of purpose. The signature tote bag, later released in multiple versions, boasts a practical design with ample room, making it the ideal bag for any occasion. Whether you’re a working mom, a busy entrepreneur, or a jet-setting executive, the Andiamo bag is the perfect day-to-evening companion for every situation.

Quintessential Designs

Keeping the Bottega Veneta’s tradition alive, the Andiamo handbags still feature the striking Intrecciato woven leather design that gives the bag its timeless appeal. But Andiamo is further amplified by Blazy with its distinctive knotted metal hardware and a top handle crafted from oak and metal, making the design instantly recognizable but without the loud logo aesthetic.

Inside, this Bottega Veneta tote bag features a well-structured interior with one zipped pocket, two open pockets, and a secure magnetic closure. Meanwhile, the lining is crafted in either soft lambskin or sueded bonded Intrecciato, depending on the bag’s size.

However, what truly makes Andiamo stand out is its versatility. The original tote now comes with an adjustable sliding crossbody strap, allowing you to seamlessly switch it from tote to crossbody or to carry it as a refined top-handle bag… the choice is all yours.

Since its launch, the Andiamo has expanded into other variations, now available as chic clutches as well as polished bucket bags. The latter switches things up by featuring a silky calfskin leather façade while keeping the signature Intrecciato leather on the internal pocket.

This Bottega Veneta crossbody bag also comes in small, medium, and large sizes, along with a mélange of classic and playful colours. If you’re after a timeless investment, go for its Nocciola (chestnut) and classic black hues, while their dark Barolo, wasabi, and bright yellow Sulfur will add an effortless pop of colours if you needed.

Celebrity Fans

Given its versatility, it’s no surprise that Bottega Veneta’s Andiamo is marketed as a unisex handbag and the roster of celebrities spotted with it certainly agrees.

From Michelle Yeoh, Jacob Elordi, Priyanka Chopra to Korean superstar RM, this popular arm candy has been spotted by their side whether they’re running around the city or heading off at the airport.

And in 2025, there’s no sign of the Andiamo handbags fading from the public eye. With their chic, minimalist design, and spacious compartments, these Bottega Veneta pieces still reign supreme, catering to the demand for a luxury handbag that you can truly carry everywhere.

With MAYFEYR’s wide range of Bottega Veneta designer bags, don’t think twice about getting your Andiamo today! Especially since you can shop for it at your convenience, right from the comfort of your own home.
